 HUNGER PROTEST: Act fast on youths’ demands of Youths 

— Oldest Nigerian politician at 105 years old advises Tinubu

A veteran Politician and Activist, Her Excellency High Chief Iyom Josephine Nonye Ezeayaeche (Odueze), has urged the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration to act fast to meet the demands of Nigerian Youths as expressed during the recent End Bad Governance protests.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, August 15, the 105-year-old Iyom Ezeayaeche, the oldest Presidential Aspirant during the 2023 Nigerian general election, said it was important to respect “free speech and the right to protest as contained in the constitutions of numerous countries, including Nigeria.”

“Mr. President, hunger has not gone because of the protest. Please mean business. Do something about the agitation, demand and requests. Please bear in mind that Nigeria belongs to us all. Give everyone their rights due irrespective of the tongue and tribe, so that peace may reign,” she added.

Reminding the administration that “hunger in the country is real,” Iyom Ezeayaeche, however, condemned the hijacking of the protests by undesirable elements to unleash wanton destruction and even attempt regime change. Reminding Nigerians of the enormous economic problems inherited by the Tinubu administration, the veteran humanitarian Engineer said: “Let’s work with our President to fast-track the process of real change.”

Mother Josephine, who is fondly called the great, great, great grandma of Africa, advised the Federal Government as follows: “Compensate families of all that may have lost their lives or were injured during the protests”.

“Create a system or monitoring group that will see all government programmes projects reach the grassroots.

“Clamp down on those involved in corruption and looting of the national treasury”.

“Make it a policy to give all Nigerians the same benefits and not only some part of the society. 

“For instance, what happens to the rest of civilians and the elderly populace when you sell 50kg rice at N40,000 to only civil servants?”

The veteran Politician and Activist also advised the government to ensure “the employment open to all youths – not only youths from rich families or those who have somebody in government.” She equally urged the government to punish the rich when they commit a crime and avoid marginalising any ethnic group. “Make it a policy to carry along every Nigerian in your administration’s programmes and activities. “Also create a point of contact in every level and communities,” she advised. I wrote a book titled “You too can fix Nigeria” a month ago.

My beloved and greatest children, grandchildren great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren of Nigeria. I humbly plead with you, to calm down, engage in strategic dialogue and embrace peace. Our president has a listening ears and has action spirit. Let’s pray for all leaders in the country to do the right things all the time and for God’s protection. 

Iyom Ezeayaeche at the press briefing endorsed Democratic Party Candidate, incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris, as the next President of the USA. “I was a Democrat during my days in the USA but that is not why I am endorsing Kamala Harris; I am endorsing her based on merit,” she said; Kamla Haris is highly educated, enlightened, exposed, experienced with highest IQ, energetic as Volcanoes and supported by countless millions of Women and Youths voters; employs freed and fix economy and sends missiles of peace, progress and justice to the world.

Continuing, she said: “The current Vice President of America, a Woman, will become the 47th President of America come 2025; her victory is assured”.

“America, go prepare for inauguration that God has destined for the first woman and greatest President of America”.

“America is a great country and will even be a greater country under the leadership of an ICON of democracy, Kamala Harris. She will be a unifier of the world and she will be a corruption-free Agent of Peace who will ensure the rebound of the American economy.”

Directly sending a message to the US Democratic Candidate whose main challenger is Republican Candidate Donald Trump. 

Iyom Ezeanyaeche said: “Kamala, my daughter, I send you, we send you and the world sends you – go and serve us well. I support you; we support you, the world supports you.

“The Almighty God sends and supports you. Congratulations in advance”.

“I endorse your candidacy for the President of United States of America come 2025. I support you with all my heart, and my ATM card. Send me your account number, my daughter. With Kamala Harris as US President, WE TOO CAN FIX THE WORLD TOGETHER.”
