AMB. NONYE JOSEPHINE EZEANYEACHE CELEBRATES 105, SET TO HONOR NATIONAL ICONS

Yesterday at Abuja The Voice For Senior Citizens of Nigeria-VOISCON unveiled the design her chief emeritus birthday celebration set to hold at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Center on the 18th of July 2024,  and her biography is reads; 

 High Chief Lolo Nonye Josephine Ezeanyeche, (Ezinne Gburugburu -ODUEZE) a widow, was born on June 22, 1919 to Chief Peter and Lolo Maria Omambala in Agukwu Nri in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State and married to legendary security Icon, late High Chief Ichie, Dr. Livinus Afamefuna Ezeanyache of Akukwa Ngo, Ibgo-Ukwa in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Mama is blessed with many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

EDUCATION AND CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
She is the oldest and most active politician in the world, she is a veteran and a spokes person for humanity.  She obtained her General Certificate of Education (GCE) and Nursing Assistant Certificate in America, Red Cross USA at age 76.

She Volunteered at old people’s homes in America; She was a career Caterer/Business woman all her life. She has passion for elderly (care and welfare) affairs, Women affairs development and Youth advocacy.
Great, Great Grandma Africa is an activist, a gifted Citizen’s Diplomat, Lobbyist, a Peace and Reconciliation Ambassador, a Philanthropist, a Community Development Promoter, a Humanitarian per excellence, Human Rights Advocate etc.
She fearlessly defended the elderly, women, youth and children affairs rights. Mama is a frontier for full utilization of senior Citizens, having wealth of experience and has also volunteered for many organizations and schools, reshaping the young minds in areas of morals, ethics, peace and reconciliation. She is a member of “ODU” Women Society (IYOM) in Igboland, member”-Nwanyibuife Advocacy International (Girl Child Rights), member –Rotary Club International, member – Mother’s Guild/Union Worldwide, member-VICAR Society International, member- Igbo-ukwu Development union(IDU). Her campaign is (“NOT TOO OLD TO SERVE”).
Great, Great, Grandma Africa is the founder of “The Voice of Senior Citizens of Nigeria (VOISCON)” founding Chairman Grand Mothers of Anambra State Association in America, “Leave No Child Behind Foundation” in America. Co-founder of “World Igbo Congress” in America, “Nigerians in Diaspora Organization” in America, “Nigeria Catholic and Anglican Churches” in America, “Igbo-Ukwu Development Union” in America, “International Congress of Women of African Descent” and many others.
As an Ada Anambra Ambassador, High Chief Iyom Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, worked tirelessly and selflessly for peace and unity in Anambra State for many years because of her believe that Charity begins at Home.  As a supportive wife to one of the most powerful traditional community leaders and security ICON, Late Ichie High Chief Dr. Livinus Afamefuna Ezeanyaeche, She was the only woman allowed to participate in the Akukwa Village Peace Strategic Committee due to her unique disposition and skills on negotiation which brought an end to the 15 year old rivalry “Igweship (Kingship) tussle between Akukwa Village and Ngo Village in Igbo-Ukwu, which led to the installation of Nri Sons in Diaspora as EZE NRI (Igwe Onyeso), which earned her the prestigious title of “IYOM” conferred on her by “EZE NRI” and ODU Society of Nri years back. As Ezinne Gburugburu indeed, she engaged prominent Anamberians on Umureri crises and became part of TIN TAN Strategic Peace Committee that led Late Chief Dr. Alex Ekweme’s delegation to the affected communities.
As a Nationalist, she worked very hard to establish Associations for other ethnic groups such as:
1. Zumunta, an association of Northern Nigeria in America
2. Egbe Omo Yoruba National Association in America
3. Oron Development Union of South-South Region in America
4. World Igbo Congress of South East Region in America
5. Nigeria in Diaspora Organization (UNIDO) and many others.
6. Establishment of political parties in Nigeria such as; Peoples Democratic Party {PDP}, Alliance for Democracy {AD} and All Nigerian Peoples Party {ANPP}.
7. The establishment of Christian churches in Nigerian and USA such as; St James Anglican church Asokoro, Nigerian Anglican church Washington DC, Nigerian Roman catholic church Washington DC.
Mama Africa/Mother General (Ezinne Gburugburu) strongly believes that together we are stronger and that we are better in developing our respective communities in Nigeria. She encouraged Nigerians in Diaspora to invest in Nigeria (Think Home) Today Nigerians had sent billions of Dollars annually for various community developments in Nigeria. In Nigeria during her High days, she was a member of Strategic Patriotic Committee that organized the first Citizens to Citizens Peace Accord during the 2011 general election hosted by Nigerians in Diasporas Integration Agency (NIDIA)
As an Africanist, she fought Apartheid through the “international Congress of Women of African Descent (ICOWAD), a movement against South African Government in the 1990s. As a Queen Mother, she was a member of the Strategic Committee of Nigerians in Diaspora Integration Agency(NIDIA) that fought Africa xenophobic attacks on Nigeria that:
1. Prevented a reprisal attack on south Africans and their investments in Nigeria
2. Planned and executed successfully in signing “Citizens to Citizens Peace Accord between Nigerians in 2014
3. Sent and sponsored delegation to visit King Shaka Zulu of South Africa over the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other African Nationals in 2014
4. To negotiate Cease fire and peace between Nigerians, other African Nationals and South Africans in 2014. This peace mission yielded a long period of xenophobic free South Africa until recently.

As an International Legend, an acclaimed unassuming powerful strategist, a rare selfless servant and volunteer activist that planned several protests against inhumanity worldwide, such as profiling against Nigerians in America, execution of Nigerians in Indonesia, Sierra Leone War, Liberia unrest, Burundi and Rwanda war and Central African unrest, North and South Sudan unrest and other international crises not publicly made aware. 

Proud to be part and parcel of the establishment of African/Caribbean Commission and African Commission in America, an achievement that will ever live with her until death and beyond. Mama strongly believes in developing human capacity building platform creativity, institutionalization and infrastructural development that stands the test of time and life long sustainable war against inhumanity, injustice and other vices in the world.

4. Brain behind approval of fund for AFMA from Africa- A perspective which her daughter executed perfectly and US Congress agreed.

6. She was brain behind legislative summit in Washington represented by Stella Omu and Pius Anyim delegate.
7. She was the brain behind Economic Summit between Nigeria and USA represented by Bamanga Turke and Minister Bello delegation.
8. She was the brain behind the mobilization of African countries on AGOA
9. She fed the multitude of the needy through her food restaurant establishment in most big cities across the country.
10. She cooked for the refugees in her country home during Nigeria/Biafra War.
11. She established Christian Churches in Nigeria and in America.

13. She resolved long disputes in Akukwa Village through village peace strategies committee that brought an end to a 15 year Kingship(Igweship) tussle which led to the installation of DR Martin[IDU II]
14. She was instrumental in bringing peace that led to the installation of Nrison, Igwe Onyeso which earned her the title of “IYOM” conferred on her by the King himself.
15. She engaged the prominent Anambarians led by late Dr Alex Ekwueme on final peace on Umureri-Agureri crises in Anambra state

i. Profiling against Nigerians in America
ii. Execution of Nigerians and Americans in Indonesia that saved Nigerian boys
iii. Proper and urgent intervention in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Burundi, Liberia, Central African, Congo, and Sudan crises.
iv. She secured the rescue back home of 1000 Africans, 400 Nigerians, and 600 other Africans stranded in Accra airport, Ghana in the year 2000
v. She engineered the installation of Africa Caribbean Commission in America.
vi. She engineered the African Commission to speed up development in African countries.
vii. She constantly lends her voice in developing human capacity platforms for creativity, institutionalized and infrastructural development.
viii. She was the brain behind “Fund for Africa” in which the 3rd U.S Congress proposed to withdraw but for her intervention the fund was saved, and fund for Africa was approved.
ix. She was the woman behind 1st Legislative summit organized in Washington DC, USA and the minister of Agriculture and chairman in their delegation 2000.
x. She mobilized Africans and Nigerians in particular to participate in the launching of “AOGA” in Washington DC, USA.
xi. She was behind major demonstrations and protests in the continued defending of Nelson Mandela in the South African prison.
xii. She is a humanitarian and peace engineer per excellence.
xiii. She fed multitudes of Nigerian refugees in her country home “Igbo-Ukwu” during the Nigerian civil war, including Hausa, Yoruba and Igbos alike.
