Promise Kept - Gov Ifeanyi Okowa

The governor of Delta State Dr Ifeanyi Okowa  has finally fulfilled his promise made to the people of Delta State by inaugurating the state own Secretariat "Obi Professor Chike Edozien Delta State Secretariat".

According to the Governor;

For over 30-years, the MDAs in Delta State have operated from different locations. This has increased the cost of governance. This is why, in my first year in office, I promised that we would work to reduce this cost by building a central secretariat to house our government institutions.

Okowa explained that with this Government own property it will reduce the cost of governance, the Secretariat occupies a total area of 3.88 hectares as the site capacity, area of building stands at 45,000 square meters  comprising of 27 Ministries, 9 conference halls and 5 Business centres, the project which took four years according to the governor was archived through strong will power.
